The President of the National Assembly Tsveta Karayancheva handed honorary certificates to the volunteers in the events of the Parliamentary Dimension of the first Bulgarian Presidency of the EU Council

The President of the National Assembly Tsveta Karayancheva handed in plenary hall honorary certificates to the volunteering organizers in the events of the Parliamentary Dimension of Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU.

28 young people were awarded the certificates for their active volunteering and their contribution to the organization and holding of the Presidency. The National Assembly President thanked the volunteers for their help on behalf of the MPs and noted that without all this work the country would not have done so well and would not have achieved such a success, highly appreciated also by its partners. Bulgaria today is different, Bulgaria has proven that it can be a leader and a major force on the Balkans, Tsveta Karayancheva stressed.

The President of the National Assembly pointed out that the young volunteers have worked both with the Bulgarian and European institutions as well as with the administration and for six months they have gained valuable experience, which they will be able to apply in their future professional careers.

The volunteers also received honorary plaques of the National Assembly.
